Organizing Creativity

Organizing your creative ideas is important in order to better understand them and create a blueprint of how to execute them. It's necessary to be attentive to those bursts of creativity when you may get many ideas at once, and know how to translate your best ideas into action.

Journaling

Put pen to paper

Having a notebook that's designated for your creative ideas is important in order to not just remember them but be able to brainstorm and explore them in detail. This allows you to see what things connect and how to implement an action plan.

Art Journal

For the visually Inclined

An art journal is an amazing visual organization tool that can help you see how things look in terms of images put together, colour schemes, mood, design, and even things like inspiring quotes that represent the visuals.

It's similar to a mood board but you get to make it and can use different tools like paint, stickers, collage art, etc.

They are very fun to make and look unique always.

Mood Board

Create a Mood Board on Pinterest

You can create a mood board using pinterest by searching for the subject matter of your ideas and saving pins that match what you want in style, colour, theme, etc. You can use pinterest for this but other tools are also available to create a mood board, like canva and more.

It can help to give you the feel, aka "mood" of what you're going for and be more specific as to what you want your projects to look like.
